About
Me

LAURAELLE.jpg

Hi! I'm Laura Lamn and I've been running community singing groups for 5 years. Singing has been amazing tool to support my own well-being and it is a joy to bring it to others.

"If you can walk you can dance, if you talk you can sing"

Who is this for?
This is for anyone who wants to experience the joy of singing. Maybe you are someone who loves singing along to your favourite songs in the car and want to sing with others. Or maybe you've already sung in choirs before and want to sing in a more relaxed and informal group.

What will our rehearsal sessions be like?
We will arrive at 7.30. I will make everyone a herbal tea and then we will all settle into our seats. We will start with a vocal warm up. Then we will sing our heart out to uplifting, fun and soothing songs. We have a little break midway to top up your tea and have a little chat, and then more singing. I teach songs by call and response, I sing it, you sing it back. We don't use sheet music, I never put anyone on the spot or make them sing alone. We sing together in a relaxed way,

FAQS

Is the venue accessible?

Do I need to commit regularly?
We have the option to drop in, or to join us as a member, but obviously the more regularly you come the more we can grow together in singing and friendship

Do I need to have a perfect voice and perfect ear to come?
This is not about perfect voices or perfect tunes. This is about accessing peace of mind and friendship through singing.
