What to expect?

We will start, in the hall, with some practical exercises to play with words and melodies.

Then we will go out for a "song walk" and catch some songs!

We will be walking for approx an hour so please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring appropriate clothing to be outside.

You will never be put on the spot, or made to share something, but at the end we might like to share our creations.

Do I need any experience?

No, we will use our voices during the session to sing and sound. I promise to make you feel at ease and many people who say they "can't sing" have felt confident in my space. I can't read sheet music, so no theory or pratical musical experience is needed.

What to bring?

Please bring :

A bottle of water

A morning snack for your song walk if you like

Comfortable shoes and outdoor clothes for the walk

A notebook or paper and pen (if you want to commit to songwriting you might like to buy a small special journal for this purpose)

Your phone with voice notes app to record and remember your song(s)

About Your Facilitator
I am a singer songwriter and have written and recorded 3 albums, with my fourth on it’s way. My songs are often played in ceremonial and therapeutic spaces; from Devon to Costa Rica. I  have run singing for well-being groups for 5 years.​​​​
